“The sea view from Portscatho swells my heart, from the moment you arrive in the village and first glimpse it. The changing nature of the light, whether it’s early morning or late evening, makes the scene forever fascinating. You would imagine that a bright blue sunny day would give the best picture of the bay, but, for me, it is when the weather challenges the sky, and the sun continues to spread its light on the sea. On this particular day, we had lapped up the sunshine and then added a jumper when the clouds came – probably a more typical British holiday. This was a summer’s day drawing to a close, and the glow on the sea was echoed by the glow within after a blissful Cornish experience.” – Hilary Stock
